How to cancel a Candy AI subscription
Profile menu, Settings, scroll down, Unsubscribe. Your Premium keeps running until the paid period ends and no further payment is taken. Money already paid stays paid unless you file a separate refund request, which Candy grants only in narrow cases.

The steps, as Candy describes them
- Sign in at candy.ai, on a phone or a computer.
- Open your profile menu and go to Settings.
- Scroll right down: your plan and the Unsubscribe button are at the bottom.
- Press Unsubscribe and answer any confirmation prompt.
Keep a screenshot of the confirmation screen; it is your evidence if a charge ever appears later. There is no app-store subscription to hunt for, because Candy has no native iPhone or Android app: everything happens in the browser.
Before you press the button
- Use your tokens. Candy's documents disagree on whether leftovers survive (more below), so spend them first. A typical series takes 36 tokens; one month's 100 covers 2 of them. The calculator shows what your balance can still finish.
- Decide whether you also want the account gone. Unsubscribing and deleting are different buttons.
- Check the date. If you hope for a refund, the window is a single day from the payment.
After canceling
| Item | What happens | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Premium features | Stay on until the paid period runs out, then the account drops to the free tier | Terms, section 10 |
| Next payment | Not taken | Terms, section 10 |
| Monthly token top-up | Stops, since it arrives with each renewal | Help center |
| Tokens already on the account | Disputed: see the next section | Terms and help center |
| Account, chats and pictures | Remain until you delete the account | Help center |
| Past payments | Kept by Candy unless a refund request succeeds | Terms 10.4, help center |
Leftover tokens: two documents, two answers
Section 10.2 of Candy's terms says that once the billing period ends, any tokens still on the account expire. A help center article on canceling says the opposite: the balance is kept, hidden while you are on the free tier, and usable again if you resubscribe. We cannot tell you which one Candy applies in practice. Because the terms are the contract, the safe assumption is that unused tokens will be lost.
Getting money back
Unsubscribing stops future payments; it does not return anything. A refund is a separate request that Candy's support team reviews by hand, and the terms and help center set tight limits:
| Condition | Rule |
|---|---|
| Deadline | Within 24 hours of the payment |
| Usage | Refused once more than 20 tokens have been spent |
| How you paid | Card payments only |
| Technical trouble | Not refunded when the problem was on the user's side |
Write to support from the email address on the account and ask explicitly for a refund; pressing Unsubscribe inside the 24 hours does not count as asking. People living in the EU or the UK have an additional withdrawal right under section 10.4 of the terms, which does not extend to US residents.
Unsubscribe or delete?
Unsubscribing keeps everything you made; deleting erases the account. The delete option sits under Settings in a section called Danger Zone. According to the help center, deleting before the renewal date also ends the subscription, and some records are still retained for the periods the law requires. If you want both, unsubscribe, use or write off your tokens, then delete.
Problems people run into
"Can I just pause it?"
Not on Candy: the help center says pausing is not available. Unsubscribe and come back later.
"It won't let me remove my card."
While a subscription is active, one payment method has to stay on file. Additional cards can be removed. Note that the terms allow Candy to use a saved backup card if the main one fails at renewal.
"I was charged after I canceled."
Check that the line reads EverAI, the name Candy bills under, and compare its date with your renewal date: a payment taken before the cancellation took effect is expected. If that is not the case, send support your account email and the last four digits of the card.

Canceling: questions
How do I cancel Candy AI?
Sign in, open the profile menu, go to Settings, scroll to the bottom and press Unsubscribe. Premium runs until the end of the period already paid.
Will I get a refund if I cancel?
Not automatically. A refund is a separate request to support, possible only within 24 hours of the payment and with no more than 20 tokens used.
What happens to my tokens when I cancel?
Candy's terms say leftover tokens expire when the billing period ends; a help center article says they are kept. Spend them before canceling to be safe.
Can I pause Candy AI instead?
No, pausing is not offered. Unsubscribe and sign up again when you want it back.
Does deleting my account stop the payments?
Yes, according to Candy's help center deleting before the renewal date ends the subscription. If an EverAI charge still appears, contact support with your account email and the card's last four digits.
How do I cancel Candy AI on an iPhone?
In Safari, exactly as on a computer: there is no App Store subscription because Candy has no native app.
Is canceling Candy AI complicated?
No. It is a self-service button in Settings; you only need to contact support for a refund.
