How we check Candy Shorts
Everything on this site starts with 2 anonymous readings of Candy's public Shorts pages that have to match line for line. One poses as a phone, the other as a computer, both from the US and with no cookies. The latest pair was taken on Nov 4, 2026.
Step by step
| Step | What happens | Why |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Clean start | No Candy login and no stored cookies | We want the view a newcomer gets |
| 2. Two visitors | A Safari-on-iPhone reading and a Chrome-on-Windows reading from a US address | Catches pages that differ by device and keeps prices in US terms |
| 3. Full sweep | The library page by page, every category filter, the Brand New shelf, each public series, the creators page and the subscriptions page | Nothing public is skipped |
| 4. Match | Titles, tags, Spicy badges, categories, descriptions, each episode's price and lock, and the free video are compared | One glitchy reading cannot slip through |
| 5. Compile | The agreed reading becomes the data every page uses; totals and medians are calculated, not typed | A change on Candy shows up everywhere at once |
If the two readings disagree on anything, neither is used until a fresh pair agrees.
Fields we record and where they end up
| Source on Candy | Recorded | Used for |
|---|---|---|
| Library | Title, position, card tags, Spicy badge, poster, sign-up lock | Counts, the order of every list, the Spicy list |
| Category filters | Membership of each category | Category pages |
| Brand New shelf | Which titles Candy flags as new | The home page and the change log |
| Series page | Description, cast, and for every episode its number, price, original price, lock and poster; the video address and subtitles where it is free | Fact sheets, the free rule, totals, discounts |
| Creators page | "Feat." credits for real performers | Which series carry an AI twin, Spicy ones included |
| Subscriptions page and paywall | Plans, billing lines, listed benefits, the paywall's list of perks | Price tables and monthly tokens |
Turning episode buttons into a free rule
Every episode button tells a visitor its price, its usual price and whether it is locked. We put each episode in one of three boxes:
- Free for anyone: unlocked and with a video Candy hands out.
- Free after sign-up: zero tokens but locked until you make an account.
- Paid: everything else, at the price shown.
Counted across the public library, those boxes produce this table, which every page reuses:
| Episode | How it opens | Applies to | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Episode 1 | Free, no account | 190 of 190 | Plays on Candy; on this site for 177 |
| Episode 2 | Free with a free account | 190 of 190 | Email sign-up, no card asked |
| Episode 3 and later | 12 tokens each | 629 episodes | The standard price |
| Episode 3 and later, higher-priced series | 30 tokens each | 16 series | All cast a real performer's AI twin |
| Spicy series | Shown only after sign-up | 19 series | Visitors see a blurred poster, the title and tags |
The same buttons reveal discounts: a price below the usual price means a promotion is on. At the latest check there was none.
Calculated figures, explained
- Tokens to finish: the sum of a series' episode prices. Typical series: 36.
- Median, or "typical": the value in the middle once every series is sorted by that figure. It ignores a few very long series that would drag an average up.
- Episode 1 length: read from the video file, not from a label. The middle value is 1:04.
- Library totals: 1,058 public episodes and 8,988 tokens to finish everything public.
Frame samples of free episodes
Numbers say nothing about what is on screen, so we also look. For a sampled series we take 6 stills at even intervals between 10% and 85% of episode 1 and record whether they show nudity, how much, and a one-line note. 15 series have a sample so far, the most recent from Oct 19, 2026. The results are on each fact sheet and on the nudity page. Paid episodes are never sampled or described: that would mean buying them, and we do not publish what we have not watched.
Series we leave out
16 series put characters in a school, babysitting, step-daughter or similar setting without stating their age. They get no page, no promotion and no place in the free feed, but they stay in the totals so our numbers match Candy's library.
Limits of the method
- Spicy series (19) are closed to anonymous visitors: we know their titles, tags and credited twins, not their episodes or prices.
- Paid episode content is not verified and not described.
- Token pack prices appear only after login.
- Premium versus tokens: whether subscribers still pay per episode is unconfirmed.
- Your own view may differ if you are outside the US, logged in or shown a personal offer.
Policies and media
Answers about billing, privacy, age rules and canceling come from Candy's terms, privacy notice, underage policy and help center, quoted exactly and named; those documents can change, so we note the date we read them. The episode 1 videos and posters on this site are files Candy gives every visitor for free, kept on our own server so they play without an account; nothing locked behind payment or login is copied. Rights holders can write to us through the contact and DMCA page.
Method: questions
How is the Candy Shorts data collected?
2 anonymous readings, one as an iPhone and one as a Windows computer, both from the US with no cookies. Every public page is read and the two readings must match before anything is published.
Why not log in to Candy?
A logged-out reading is what any newcomer sees and anyone can repeat it to check us. The price is that Spicy series and anything behind sign-up stay unverified.
When was the data last checked?
On Nov 4, 2026. Every difference from the previous check is listed on the changes page.
Why two readings?
A single reading can catch a half-loaded page or a test Candy is running. Two different browsers agreeing on every field rules most of that out.
Do you watch the paid episodes?
No. We sample free first episodes only, and paid episodes are never described here.
Why is my price different?
Our prices are what a logged-out US visitor saw at the latest check. Location, an account or a personal offer can change yours; the checkout page is the final word.
